Addendum to First Aid Guidance Reflects Latest 2025 Updates
First aid and resuscitation guidance is regularly reviewed to ensure that it reflects the most up-to-date research, clinical evidence, and real-world experience. Expert panels from organisations such as the Resuscitation Council UK continually assess outcomes and emerging evidence so that first aiders are equipped with the most effective methods for responding to life-threatening emergencies.
Earlier editions of the First Aid at Work manual contained guidance that was accurate and appropriate at the time of publication. However, ongoing evaluation of emergency responses has highlighted opportunities to refine early interventions and improve patient outcomes.
To ensure alignment with the latest standards, an addendum to first aid guidance has now been issued to reflect the 2025 Resuscitation Council (UK) Guidelines.
